Gantry layer pad inserter

OCTAVEX is a gantry layer pad inserter designed to guarantee precision, reliability and speed in picking up and positioning layer pads within automated palletizing lines.
The structure combines traverse and lifting movements driven by belts with inverter-controlled motors, while encoders and a laser rangefinder ensure precise, synchronised control of the axes.
The gripping system uses a double-action “butterfly” cylinder with four self-adjusting external suction cups and central suction cups on spring compensators, guaranteeing a stable grip on layer pads of different sizes.
High operational performance: OCTAVEX exceeds six complete cycles per minute while maintaining efficiency and continuity even in the most demanding conditions.
